Madrid will be the epicentre of world junior tennis over the next three years. The city is set to host the final rounds of the Junior Davis Cup and the Junior Fed Cup by BNP Paribas -a mixed tournament- in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The announcement was made today by Madrid's Mayor, Ana Botella, at the Caja Mágica, where the finals will take place in September and October

The capital will host these major sporting events thanks to an agreement between the International Tennis Federation, the Spanish Tennis Federation, Mutua Open and the municipal company Madrid Destino. These two top level junior tournaments "will be a draw for the media and tourism, having financial benefits for Madrid," added Ana Botella
