Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa is an exhibition and production centre promoting the work of companies and individual creators devoted to the performing arts, music and the visual arts.
It has established itself as a major Madrid venue, becoming a premier location for theatre companies, who perform their work in the Sala Guirau or the Sala Dos, depending on its format.
The theatre is thus able to offer the Madrid public a wide variety of performances including concerts, zarzuela operetta, dance, (including the Danza de la Villa cycle), large and small theatre productions, dramatised readings and performance poetry.
Since its inauguration, the exhibition hall has displayed every kind of visual art, including photography, paintings and sculpture.
